There has been a lot of speculation about Christopher Nolan helming the next Bond flick. And now, the latest reports suggest that the filmmaker will indeed be directing the upcoming Bond film.
Earlier, Daniel Craig, who has played the super spy in the last four James Bond films - Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre - announced his return to the franchise for another Bond film that will come out in 2019.
The Dunkirk director is now said to be on board the project, with an official announcement expected sometime in January or February 2018.
It is to be noted that the Bond franchise chief Barbara Broccoli teased that a major announcement was in the offing. She'd said, "We’ve got the most important piece in place, which is Daniel Craig coming back. We’ve got to find the director next, and we're working on the script as well. Hopefully, by the beginning of the year, we’ll have more news on all those fronts."
