Kannada actor Sathish Ninasam is joining the sets of his first Tamil film, Pagaivanukku Arulvai, today. "I am feeling really excited as I am making an entry into a new industry,” he says.

Sathish Ninasam, who has shot a few portions for Dasara post lockdown, has wrapped the shooting for Vijayaprasad’s Petromax.

Pagaivanukku Arulvai is his third film post the lockdown. The film, directed by Anees of Thirumanam Enum Nikkah fame, has Sathish playing one of the leads alongside Sasikumar. Nassar essays an important role, and Vani Bhojan and Bindu Madhavi are the film's female leads. Pagaivanukku Arulvai has music by Ghibran.

“Experimenting with a film in a new language feels like starting afresh,” says the 23-film-old actor. “Just like new places, a new industry also allows actors to learn new things, and I am looking forward to the experience. I will always remain a Kannada actor, but I want to work in other languages when the opportunity arises,” he adds.

Sathish will be making temporary camp in Chennai, as he is scheduled to shoot there for the next 30 days. “I will be here till January 25,” says the actor, who will then return to Bengaluru to film the remaining song for Petromax, and again join the Pagaivanukku Arulvai team in Shivamogga. “Post these two projects, I will resume the shooting for Dasara. After that, I will start work on Matinee,” he signs off.
