Sharing a table with Samuel Jackson and Britney Spears was surreal: Ali Fazal

Bollywood actor Ali Fazal, who is preparing for his next Hollywood venture, says meeting icons like Britney Spears and Samuel L Jackson was surreal.

The actor attended the annual Hollywood Beauty Awards and he also presented the New Beauty Awards to two newcomers, namely Kirstin Maldonado and Olivia Holt. And the finale, award for Timeless beauty to Jane Seymour. 

"It was surreal. We were all at the same table, dining at the award show. Britney has been an icon during the largest part of my childhood. She was up there breaking records with her hit singles. I bet all my friends know lyrics to at least two of her songs. She received the fragrance beauty award for her latest perfume line and so I guess I went to get a whiff of that and congratulate her," says Ali.

Talking about meeting Jackson, Ali says, "I was clueless about what to say, except that I am his huge fan. In reply to that, he said that he loved my performance in Victoria and Abdul. That was one of the best compliments I have received in my life. I told him that I hope to meet him on a movie's set next time as a co-actor."
