'Commercial film actors are not taken seriously'

Munna Michael actor Nidhhi Agerwal says people don't take an actor seriously when he or she does a lot of commercial films.

"The film I did last was very commercial. There was a lot of dancing in it and I don't think people really take you seriously as an actor when you do such films," says Nidhhi.

"But people forget that the actors got the film only after auditioning for it. I would like to do all kinds of films; serious ones, followed by fun commercial films again because I love them. Such films have lots of action, dancing, everything that a Hindi film heroine should or can do. I'd love to do all," she adds.

The actor is set to feature in a film helmed by Toilet: Ek Prem Katha director Shree Narayan Singh. Without divulging any details about the project, she says, "I'm really excited to start prepping and shooting."
