Super excited to be on board for Chillum: Priyanka Thimmesh

Priyanka Thimmesh seem to be making the right moves and carefully picking her projects. She has almost completed shooting for three films -- her Malyalam debut and two Kannada films. The actor’s next after Bheemasena Nala Maha Raja will be the Manoranjan-starrer titled Chillum. Priyanka bagged the female lead role in the film after an audition.

The Ganapa actor says she is excited to be on board for Chillum, a film produced by M Gopal under MG entertainments, that has brought back actors Raghavendra Rajkumar and Saritha in pivotal roles. Priyanka, who reveals that the film will be the first of its genre for the Kannada industry, says the prospect of working with a woman director, J Chandrakala, added to the excitement.

“I personally liked the way director Chandrakala narrated the script. I could visualise each scene during the narration. I also felt that the film demands a strong performance from all the artistes. When I stepped out of the audition, I went back home with a feeling that I should not miss this film,” she adds.

Priyanka, who is being paired opposite Manoranjan for the first time, is also thrilled to share screen space with senior actors Raghavendra Rajkumar and Saritha.

She has completed the shoot of her Malayalam film, Kayamkulam Kochunni, and has a song shoot pending for John Cena directed by Suni and and a 7-day schedule remaining for Karthik Saragur’s Bheemasena Nala Maha Raja.

Having also worked on two Tamil films, she now awaits the release of these two untitled films. She says she will have more details to share about them once the strike in the Tamil industry is called off.
