I treasure all my films: Parul Yadav

Parul Yadav, who is all set to be seen in the Kannada remake of the 2014 Bollywood film Queen, says she treasures all the films she has worked on till date.

"Queen is definitely a milestone in Indian cinema, and I am excited to be a part of it, but I treasure all the films I have done till date, as those are what have made me what I am today," she says.

The actor is currently shooting for the remake titled Butterfly in Paris and will be seen reprising the role of Rani, which was essayed by Kangana Ranaut in the Vikas Bahl directorial. She hopes to be a part of many more path-breaking films.

Will Butterfly make as much of an impact in the Kannada film industry like Queen did in Bollywood? "Yes definitely! The story is universal and something everyone can relate to," she says.

Parul feels happy that a lot of remakes are being made in Indian cinema. "I think great stories need to be told in as many languages as possible and it's irrelevant who tells the story first. The point is to put the story across and inspire," she adds.

Parul made her acting debut with the 2004 Tamil film Dreams starring Dhanush and Diya. Since then, she has featured in several Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil movies.

Television actor Hina Khan, who is currently featuring in the 11th season of Bigg Boss, made a sly comment saying 'fat and bulging' are the requirements for the South film industry. Asked her opinion on this, Parul says, "Maybe that's her thought process. Well, I am an actress down south and I don't have a bulging and voluptuous figure, that pretty much says it all doesn't it?"
