Rumours about actor Ganesh and Duniya Vijay coming together for a film have been doing the rounds for long. Finally, they have been proven true with Preetham Gubbi set to direct a film starring the two friends. News broke on the sets of Johnny Johnny Yes Papa, when Preetham shared that he will be working on a film with the action hero and romantic hero.

“I want to bring fight and rain together,” says Gubbi about his next project. Ganesh and Vijay almost started in the Kannada industry together. While Ganesh shot to fame with Mungaru Male, Vijay became popular with the Suri-directorial Duniya. The two stars are known to share a great rapport off screen.

Preetham was the writer for Mungaru Male, which was directed by Yogaraj Bhat. The director is currently working with Duniya Vijay for Johnny Johnny... “I will now start scripting a story keeping the two in mind. We will likely start with the project from July next year,” he says.

The film will be made under either Golden Movies, a production house owned by Ganesh, or under a big banner.
