8. Chekka Chivantha Vaanam This Mani Ratnam film, which got the audience intrigued just by the cast announcement, set a new benchmark for multi-starrers by giving equal lime light for all its leads
9. Vikram Vedha The modern day retelling of Vikram and Vedhal, received unanimous love from the audience and every single frame and dialogue of the film became a talking point during its release.
10. Petta This revenge drama which was lauded by the fans as a celebration of the Super Star Rajinikanth and his 'Rajinism', failed to satisfy the audience who were misled by the exceptional cast
