Prabhas' full name is Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati. He was born in Chennai to Suryanarayana Raju & Siva Kumari. He has 2 siblings and is the nephew of actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju.
Prabhas attended the DNR School, Bhimavaram and graduated with a B.Tech. degree from Sri Chaitanya College, Hyderabad.
He's the first Indian actor to have headlined a film (Baahubali 2) that raked in Rs 1000 crore in 10 days. He is also the first star, whose film was the first to join the Rs 1500 crore club in India.
Prabhas had to bulk up for his Baahubali character. He weighed about 100 kg while he played the role of an ancient super solider. He followed a non-veg diet to gain about 20 kg of pure muscle.
Prabhas was trained by Lakshman Reddy for Baahubali. The trainer is Mr.World 2010. The actor was also gifted with gym equipment worth 1.5 crores from the makers.
