As part of the morning routine, Tharshan teaches Sri Lankan Tamil to other housemates and Cheran tries his hand with the accent. It generates a lot of laughs.
For the first time ever, nominations for eviction are going to be by an open nomination process. Contestants feel nervous about it.
The housemates go back and forth in nominating each other. Finally, Bigg Boss announces that Madhumitha, Kavin, Reshma, Sakshi and Abhirami are up for eviction this week
The true emotions are coming out now after the open nominations. Sakshi nominates Kavin for 'backstabbing.' He responds that he could have nominated her for the same reasons but doesn't care.
The war goes on. Sakshi says that she got intimidated when she saw Kavin holding hands with Losliya, and feels that he has no respect for her.
Another issue seems to be boiling as a result of the open evictions. It brings forth thoughts about gender partiality as most male housemates nominated the female members and vice-versa.
Looks like these two are on their own separate track. They share a lighthearted moment despite the ongoing problems.
Reshma is still puzzled as to why she was nominated by Mugen and Tharshan as she felt a strong bond with them.
As Reshma tries to get things clarified from Mugen, the conversation intensifies into a breakdown.
The atmosphere in the house has been dull and this added to the misery. Abhirami beaks down for being nominated continuously.
And the expected apology has been made and rightfully so. Bigg Boss calls Saravanan into the confession room and asks him to apologize for his comments on Sunday's episode.
He says that he isn't proud of his actions. He urges the youth not to indulge in any such activity and apologizes. Do you accept his apology?
Phew! Finally some happiness after a dull day. It's Madhumitha's birthday and the housemates gather around to celebrate.
There's tears again but this time, they are happy ones. A video message from her husband is played on TV.
