Padavettu trailer: Nivin Pauly heads a fight against political bigwigs

The trailer of Nivin Pauly's Padavettu has been released. From the 3.07-minute-long trailer, it promises a hard-hitting socio-political drama about how Nivin Pauly's character heads a resistance against political bigwigs. The actor is seen in different looks in the trailer, one of which has him sporting long hair.

Written and directed by Liju Krishna, Padavettu has been in the making for some time now. The film's release got delayed due to the pandemic, and later when director Liju got arrested on charges of rape.

Padavettu also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Shammy Thilakan, Sudheesh, Aditi Balan, Vijayaraghavan and Indrans. Deepak D Menon is the cinematographer and edits are handled by Shafique Mohamed Ali. Govind Vasantha has composed the music.

Produced jointly by Yoodlee Films and Sunny Wayne Productions, Padavettu is set to hit screens worldwide on October 21.
