The film is produced by Bollywood actor John Abraham

Published: 02nd August 2022

Bollywood actor John Abraham's production house JA Entertainment is making their Malayalam debut by producing a film titled Mike. Directed by debutant Vishnu Sivaprasad, the film has Anaswara Rajan and newcomer Ranjith Sajeev as the leads.

Anaswara sports a tomboy look in the film. Her character is named Sara, but she prefers to known as Mike. The trailer hints at challenges faced by her post sex reassignment surgery. Ranjith essays a character named Antony in the film. The trailer is mostly centered around these two actors. Aashiq Akbar Ali has scripted the film, which looks like a coming-of-age tale of the two leads.

Rohini Molletti, Jinu Joseph, Akshay Radhakrishnan, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Dayyana Hameed, Karthik Manikandan, Rakesh Murali, Rahul, Nehan, Roshan, Chandra, Vettukili Prakash, and Sini Abraham are the others in the cast.

Mike has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab and cinematography by Renadive. The film, edited by Vivek Harshan, is slated to hit screens on August 19.
