The first look poster of Aadujeevitham is here
On Sunday, Prithviraj Sukumaran unveiled the first poster of his much-awaited film Aadujeevitham or Goat Life. The film, directed by Blessy, is one of the most ambitious Malayalam films of all time.
Aadjeevitham is an adaptation of a 2008 Malayalam novel of the same name authored by Benyamin. It tells the story of an Immigrant worker, Najeeb and the plight and helplessness he had undergone in the desert of Saudi Arabia.
The new poster showcases Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, seen amongst a herd of goats. Najeeb blends into the atmosphere so well that it seems as if the pack is gobbling him up. Only his head is visible through the wool and horns of the goats. He keeps his head down, his dry and shaggy hair covering his face, and his eyes closed, projecting a sense of helplessness in the midst of a barren desert.
For playing Najeeb's character, Prithviraj underwent a drastic physical transformation, losing around 30 kilos. The film has been in the making for over five years now as the makers shot it over multiple schedules in gruelling conditions. Earlier this year, a trailer of the film was leaked online. Within minutes of its release, the trailer went viral across social media.
The technical crew of the film comprises music composer AR Rahman, cinematographer Sunil K S, sound designer Resul Pookutty and editor Sreekar Prasad.
The film is yet to get a release date.
