Director Sathyan Anthikad lauds Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam 

Mammooty starrer Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam has been the talk of the industry ever since it got premiered at the International Film Festival of Kerala(IFFK). Recently the film got released in theatres to raving reviews. Lately, director Sathyan Anthikad who caught the film has showered praises and called Mammooty 'an amazing actor'. 
 

Sathyan Anthikad has taken to his social media handle to pen a note in Malayalam which translates to "Watched 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam' It was like a dream that lined the siesta. How beautifully has Lijo rendered the story of James and Sundaram. I have seen the villages of Pazhni back when I was on a location scout for the film Mazhavilkavadi. The corn fields, people living in small houses, and the old Tamil songs, Lijo has captured the beauty of it all. Was again able to witness the wonder that is Mammooty, as an actor. The picture of Sundaram's dog following James's troupe van as they leave the village still remains an ache in the heart. All the regards to Lijo and the team".
 
Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is currently running in theatres, and it marks Lijo Jose Pellissery's first collaboration with Mammooty.
