Kasargold, according to the makers, is an action-thriller that revolves around gold smuggling. It is centered around a gang of friends and how greed changes the dynamics of their bonding. While the film has its story by Mridul Nair, he has penned the screenplay and dialogues along with Malayankunju director Sajimon Prabhakar. Vishnu Vijay and Niranj Suresh have composed the songs, and the background score is handled by the former alone. Jebin Jacob is the cinematographer and edits are done by Manoj Kannoth.

Kasargold is backed by Yoodlee Films in association with Mukhari Entertainment LLP.
