Teaser release date of Maheshum Maruthiyum is out

The makers of Maheshum Maruthiyum have announced that the film's teaser will be out Thursday. Starring Asif Ali and Mamta Mohandas as the leads, the film is billed as a romantic comedy.

According to the makers, it's a triangular love story of the protagonist Mahesh, who is equally in love with an 80s model Maruti car and a girl named Gauri. As the car is an essential part of the story and has a peculiar bond with the main characters, the makers used a restored 1983 version of the Maruti 800.

Maheshum Maruthiyum is directed by Sethu, who previously helmed the Mammootty-starrer Oru Kuttanadan Blog. The upcoming film is backed by veteran actor Maniyanpilla Raju's production house in association with VSL Film House. Faiz Siddik is the cinematographer and edits are handled by Jith Joshie.

Vijay Babu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Varun Dhara, Rony Raj, Prashanth Alexander, Kunchan, Idavela Babu, Manu Raj, Divya, and many others are part of the cast.

The makers are expected to announce the film's release date along with the teaser.
