Antony Varghese's Poovan first look out

The film marks the directorial debut of Vineeth Vasudevan, who did a notable role in Super Sharanya

We had earlier reported about Antony Varghese headlining a film titled Poovan. Its first look got released recently. The film, which promises to be a fun entertainer, marks the directorial debut of Vineeth Vasudevan, who did a notable role in Super Sharanya.

As per the makers, Poovan addresses some pertinent issues of society through a humour-laden screenplay penned by Varun Dhara. Sajin Cherukayil, Vineeth Vishwam, Vineeth Vasudevan, Varun Dhara, Girish AD, Maniyanpilla Raju, Rinku Ranadeer, Anishma Anilkumar, Akhila Bhargavan, Bindhu Satishkumar, Annies Abraham, and Sunil Melepuram also star in it.

Poovan is backed by Shebin Backer and Super Sharanya director Girish AD under the banners Shebin Backer Productions and Stuck Cows, respectively. Sajith Purushan is the cinematographer and Akash Joseph Varghese has done the edits. Midhun Mukundan composes the tunes to Suhail Koya's lyrics.
