The makers of Mammootty's upcoming film Christopher shared a new poster on Thursday. It features an intense-looking Mammootty with a gun in his hand. The actor reportedly plays a vigilante cop in the film. The newly released poster comes with the tagline, 'For him, justice is an obsession.'

Directed by B Unnikrishnan, Christopher is billed as a thriller based on real-life incidents. It marks the director's second successive collaboration with scriptwriter Udaykrishna after the Mohanlal-starrer Aarattu, which hit screens earlier this year.

Christopher has Sneha, Amala Paul, and Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female leads. Tamil actor Vinay Rai, who was last seen in Oh My Dog, has been roped in to play the antagonist and it marks his Malayalam debut. The film also stars Shine Tom Chacko, Dileesh Pothan, Siddique, Jinu Abraham, Vinitha Koshy, and Vikram fame Vasanthi.

The technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, music composer Justin Varghese and editor Manoj. The film is produced jointly by Aroma Mohan and RD Illuminations.

Meanwhile, Mammootty has Rorschach gearing up for release next. The Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam is also awaiting release.
