Mahesh Narayanan's Ariyippu selected at Busan International Film Festival

After its selections at the Locarno and London (BFI) film festivals, writer-director Mahesh Narayanan's Ariyippu has got selected to screen at the 27th Busan International Film festival, which will run from October 5-14 this year.

Starring Kunchacko Boban and Divyaprabha in the leads, Ariyippu first made its premiere at the international competition section of the 75th Locarno Film Festival early this year.

Also starring Loveleen Mishra, Kannan Arunachalam, Danish Hussain and Faisal Malik, Ariyippu has a script by Mahesh Narayanan, who is co-producing with Kunchacko Boban and Shebin Backer.

Ariyippu also sees Mahesh reuniting with cinematographer Sanu John Varghese, who had lensed Take Off and Malik.

Mahesh and Rahul Radhakrishnan edited the film, with Sushin Shyam providing the original score.
