Malayalam actor Mathew Thomas joins Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj's Thalapathy 67?

As confirmed earlier, Vijay's next film is with his Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The makers are currently busy with its pre-production including finalising the cast and crew. Meanwhile, there have been several speculations about the film's cast. As per the latest reports, Malayalam actor Mathew Thomas is set to play a prominent role in the film. The youngster is noted for his roles in hit films like Kumbalangi Nights and Thanneer Mathan Dinangal.

Trisha, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt, and Prithviraj Sukumaran are some of the other names that have been doing the rounds regarding the cast of Thalapathy 67. However, the makers are yet to confirm it. If reports are to be believed, the film is set to go on floors in December. An official announcement is expected to be made soon.

Thalapathy 67 is a much-anticipated film thanks to the huge success of Master and Lokesh's last release, Vikram. Fans and cinephiles are eagerly waiting to know if this upcoming film will also be part of the Lokiverse, which the director created with Kaithi and Vikram.
