Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar is directing the multilingual film

Published: 24th November 2022

We had earlier reported about Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar teaming up with Fahadh Faasil for a multilingual project titled Dhoomam. Recently, the makers shared a few working stills from the film's sets. The project is backed by Hombale Films, the production house that bankrolled the KGF films and the recently released Kannada sensation Kantara.

On Wednesday, Vijay Kiragandur, who heads Hombale Films, took to social media to share a photo taken with Fahadh Faasil and Kantara star and director Rishab Shetty. He captioned it as, "A delightful evening with the two gems"

Dhoomam is slated to release in the summer of 2023 in Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu. Reportedly, it is the revival of Pawan Kumar's long-delayed project, C10H14N2 (Nicotine), but there has been no official word on it yet. The film also stars Aparna Balamurali and Roshan Mathew in major roles. Pawan Kumar's regular collaborator Poornachandra Tejaswi is composing the music while Preetha Jayaraman handles the cinematography department.
