Aanaparambile World Cup passes through censor formalities

The film stars Antony Varghese, Balu Varghese, and Lukman, among several others

Aanaparambile World Cup, the upcoming Malayalam film starring Antony Varghese, has been certified U by the censor board. The film is all set to hit the theatres tomorrow.

Directed by Nikhil Premraj, the film is produced by Stanley CS and Faizal Latheef under the Achappu Movie Magic and Mass Media Production banners.

Billed as a sports drama with fantasy elements,  Aanaparambile World Cup also stars Balu Varghese and Lukman, IM Vijayan, Adil Ibrahim and PK Danish, who became an internet sensation last year for striking a zero-degree goal. The film follows a young boy, Ummar, and his six friends, who are all ardent football fans and players.

According to reports, the film is shot in Malappuram and Ladakh. IM Vijayan’s son Aromal Vijayan has choreographed sports sequences. Aanaparambile World Cup's technical crew includes cinematographer Faiz Siddik, music composer Jakes Bejoy and editors Noufal Abdullah and Jith Joshie.
