14 Malayalam films part of 26th IFFK

Among the 14 films selected are Aarkariyaam, The Great Indian Kitchen, Nayattu, and Sunny

The Great Indian Kitchen, Nayattu

The upcoming 26th edition of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) has revealed its lineup of Malayalam films in the Malayalam Cinema Today section. Among the 14 films selected are Sanu John Varghese's Aarkariyaam, Jeo Baby's The Great Indian Kitchen, Martin Prakkat's Nayattu, and Ranjith Sankar's Sunny.


Two films -- Nishiddho (Forbidden) by Tara Ramanujan and Aavasa Vyooham (The Arbit Documentation of an Amphibian Hunt) by Krishand RK -- have been selected for the International Competition section.

The complete lineup is as follows:

9. Sunny (Dir: Ranjith Sankar)


10. Chavittu/Stomp (Dir: Sajas Rahman, Shinos Rahman)


11. Niraye Thathakalulla Maram/Tree Full of Parrots (Dir: Jayaraj Rajasekharan Nair)


12. Nayattu/The Hunt (Dir: Martin Prakkat)


13. The Great Indian Kitchen (Dir: Jeo Baby)
