Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Salute to release on January 14, 2022

Dulquer Salmaan's upcoming Malayalam feature, Salute, will hit theatres on January 14, 2022.

Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Salute comes from the imagination of writing duo Bobby and Sanjay, known for the critical and box office hits such as Mumbai Police and Traffic. Though Salute is a police drama, the makers have clarified from the outset that it will be different from Mumbai Police.

Dulquer essays a Sub-Inspector from Kerala Police named Aravind Karunakaran. Diana Penty plays the female lead. Other cast members include Manoj K Jayan, Alencier Ley, Binu Pappu, Vijayakumar and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy.

Jakes Bejoy (Ranam, Ayyappanum Koshiyum) serves as the music composer, Aslam K Purayil is the cinematographer, and Sreekar Prasad is the editor.

Dulquer's Wayfarer Films is bankrolling Salute as the company's fifth production venture.
