Nagashekar in talks with Rachita Ram for Sanju Weds Geetha II

Ramya, who played the lead in the original, will be the presenter in the second part

Director Nagashekar recently announced the commencement of Sanju Weds Geetha II. The film, with the tagline 'Lifeee is Beautiiifull, features Srinagar Kitty in the lead. Ramya, who played the lead in the original, will be the presenter in the second part. 

The director is currently finalising the cast, and we heard that Nagashekar is in talks with Rachita Ram to play the female lead. According to our source, the actor and director recently met and had a meeting and have had their initial discussion about the film. Although further rounds of talks will take place before the final confirmation, it seems that Rachita Ram has given the green signal to the project.

Nagashekar will be producing the project under his Nagashekar Movies Productions banner and plans to release the film during Dasara in 2024.

Meanwhile, Rachita Ram is currently occupied with her commitments on the reality show Mr Bachelor and has a couple of upcoming projects. The actor, who was last seen in Kranti starring Darshan, will be seen opposite Sathish Ninasam in the upcoming film, Matinee. Rachita's lineup also includes Love Me or Hate Me starring Krishna, and Shabari, a women-centric film, which are at different stages of production.
