Rapper Chandan Shetty to make his acting debut as a lead hero

Popular rap singer and music director Chandan Shetty’s latest social media post has lead to speculations about him turning hero to turn hero. He posted a retro look photo with the caption, “Guess the reason for my new look,” and tagged Gubbi Mele Brhmastra  director Sujay Shastry.

Though Chandan and Sujay have remained tightlipped about it, we have learned that the collaboration is indeed happening. It is said that actor-director Suraj, who is known for his humour has conceived a unique subject line for his second film that is set to star Chandan. A formal announcement will be made in the coming week.

Chandan’s performing skills have been noticed in his music videos, and this project will be the first time he faces the camera as a lead actor.
