A new promotional song for Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer James is in the making. The shoot for the number happened on Thursday. Touted to be a rap number, it is written by director Chethan Kumar, and it is composed by Charan Shetty. Chandan Shetty has crooned the number. The video song features Chandan Shetty, Charan Raj, Rachita Ram, Ashika Ranganath, and Sreeleela.

James, bankrolled by Kishore Pathikonda, sports an ensemble cast. The film also stars Priya Anand, Shine Shetty, Tilak, Chikanna Srikanth Meka, Mukesh Rishi, Aditya Menon, Anu Prabhakar, Rangayana Raghu, Harsha, Suchendra Prasad, and Ravi Shankar Gowda. The film's cinematography is handled by J Swamy.
