Alice in Borderland: Season 2 trailer out

The trailer for the second season of Alice in Borderland, the survival drama series, was released.

Set in an abandoned Tokyo where two of the main characters of the show, Ryohei Arisu and Yuzuha Usagi are made to compete in a dangerous game. While the players get visas when they win the games, they are shot dead by red lasers from the sky if they fail to make their visas extended. Alice in Borderland is based on the Manga of the same name by Haro Aso. The series is directed by Shinsuke Sato, who has also written the screenplay along with Yasuko Kuramitsu. Alice in Borderland: Season 2 will release on December 22.

According to the trailer, the series tells how Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) try to unravel the mysteries of Borderland to return to the real world. They encounter allies, enemies, and the mastermind behind all of the games in a place they believe holds the key to uncovering these mysteries. In the second season, the difficulty increases as they pit themselves against games of a scale. The remaining games are only the Jack, Queen, and King cards. The story unfolds with the question if they will be able to collect them all and return to the real world.
