Netflix dropped the teaser trailer of the upcoming film In Love and Deep Water. Written by acclaimed creator Yuji Sakamoto, who is best known for Monster, the Japanese film that won accolades at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, the upcoming film will premiere globally on Netflix on November 16.

Billed as a suspenseful romantic comedy,  In Love and Deep Water is set on the MSC Bellissima, a massive luxury cruise ship headed for the Aegean sea.

The official logline of the film read, "Suguru, a devoted butler of a luxurious cruise ship, sees his life turned upside down the day he encounters Chizuru, a woman who claims that their respective partners are on the verge of cheating. Chizuru tries to convince him that they have to stop the cruise and go back to Japan to prevent their partners from cheating when, one night, the two of them, along with five other passengers, witness a dead body floating in the rooftop pool. Strangely, all but Suguru pretend they haven't seen anything. While trying to uncover this mystery, Suguru and Chizuru are gradually drawn to each other.

Here is the teaser trailer

Directed by Yusuke Taki, the upcoming film stars  Ryo Yoshizawa as Suguru and Aoi Miyazaki as Chizuru.
