The trailer for Babli Bouncer is out. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, the film stars Tamannaah Bhatia as a female bouncer. It traces Babli's journey from 'Fatehpur Beri', a village known for producing the most number of musclemen and bouncers, to a posh Delhi club, where she becomes a 'lady bouncer'. Babli's coming-of-age story—which includes defying family expectations, moving town and falling in love with a city guy (Abhishek Bajaj)— crescendoes with her witnessing an abduction and zooming to the rescue. "Release the girl," she warns, before singlehandedly dusting up a gang of boys.

Babli Bouncer is written by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath and Madhur Bhandarkar. This is Tamannaah's first Hindi outing since 2019's Khamoshi. The cast also features Saurabh Shukla and Sahil Vaid in key roles.

Babli Bouncer is produced by Star Studios and Junglee Pictures. The film releases on September 23 on Disney+ Hotstar in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
