Phone Bhoot trailer: Katrina Kaif has a business idea for ghostbusters Siddhant and Ishaan

Katrina Kaif is a ghost with a business proposition in the trailer of Phone Bhoot which released today. The quirky trailer shows Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter, two youngsters who acquire the power to see ghosts. They are paid a visit by Katrina who gives them the idea of catching spirits and helping them attain moksh (freedom).

In the trailer Ishaan asks Katrina that they are doing it for the money, but what is in it for her? Enter Jackie Shroff as the villain. He is probably a sorcerer of black magic, who had a previous tiff with Katrina. Now the trio join forces to fight him. The trailer is filled with hilarious situations and has references to many Bollywood films like Koi …Mil Gaya, Haqeeqat and Gully Boy. It also features Sheeba Chaddha as a ‘chudail’. The trailer ends with Katrina correcting ghost Sheeba’s Hindi and giving up moments later, saying, “tumhari Hindi weak hai, koi nahi (your Hindi is weak, it's okay).”

When it comes to other projects, Katrina was last seen in Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar, while Siddhant starred in Gehraiyaan. On the other hand, Ishaan was last seen in Khali Peeli with Ananya Panday.

Phone Bhoot is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. It has been produced by Excel Entertainment which is headed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The film is slated to hit the theatres on November 4.
