Freddy new teaser: Watch Kartik Aaryan transform from shy lover to psychotic doctor

The film will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2

Published: 24th November 2022

The makers of Kartik Aaryan’s Freddy, shared a new teaser of the romantic-thriller on Thursday.

The teaser opens with Kartik as Dr Freddy Ginwala getting married to his “obsession” Kainaaz (Alaya F). Later she can be seen with dentist’s clippers around her lips, showing her teeth. Kartik says ominously, “Great teeth but there are cavities. Will need to be extracted.”

Earlier, talking about the film, Director Shashanka Ghosh had said, “A romance, a betrayal, an ordinary man turns extraordinary is the story of Freddy. The power of Freddy is its incredible writing of each character, sets and background music. This kind of treatment required strong actors such as Kartik Aaryan and Alaya F. I am so happy to have found Freddy and Kainaaz in them.”

Freddy will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2.

Kartik headlined the blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Tabu and Kiara Advani earlier this year. The horror-comedy is the third highest-grossing film of 2022, after Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva and The Kashmir Files.

Besides Freddy, Kartik will be seen in Shehzada, the Hindi remake of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. His other projects include Satyaprem Ki Katha and Aashiqui.
