Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer of Unpaused: Naya Safar.

The anthology is a sequel to the 2020 series exploring different facets of the pandemic. The new edition offers five short films, each delving into 'the relatable challenges that the pandemic has inflicted on everyone, while stressing on the need to embrace a positive outlook.'

The five films are 

Teen Tigada, about three men in a factory. It is directed by Ruchir Arun and stars Saqib Saleem, Ashish Verma and Sam Mohan.

The Couple, about job layoffs. It is directed by Nupur Asthana and  stars Shreya Dhanwanthary and Priyanshu Painyuli.

Gond Ke Laddu, about a mother-daughter relationship. It is directed by Shikha Makan and stars Neena Kulkarni, Darshana Rajendran and Lakshvir Singh Saran.

War Room, about frontline operators. It is directed by Ayappa KM and stars Geetanjali Kulkarni, Rasika Agashe, Purnanand Wandhekar and Sharvari Deshpande.

Vaikunth, about a crematorium worker. It is directed by Nagraj Manjule and stars Arjun Karche and Hanumant Bhandari.

Speaking about his film, Ruchir Arun said, “With Teen Tigada, our effort was to highlight the threshold of human emotions, amidst the tribulations of an ongoing pandemic which hit us like a storm."

Nagraj Manjule shared, “Unpaused Naya Safar anthology reflects on a range of emotions with each of its films, and Vaikunth adds on to this with a unique balance of gloom and hope, peppered with unpredictability. We, as a team are humbled and honored to bring this story as part of this anthology and we hope that it stays with the audience for a long time.”
