Netflix drops Darlings BTS

Netflix has released the BTS video Darlings, starring Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. 

Directed by debutante Jasmeet K Reen, the film marks the debut production of Alia's banner Eternal Sunshine. She has co-produced the film with Red Chillies Entertainment. 

The BTS video introduces the lead characters of the film and shows how they created the world of Darlings, getting Mumbai's Byculla lingo, shooting and the actors shared their experience working with the Jasmeet. 

The story of the film revolves around Badru (Alia Bhatt), a young married woman in Mumbai. When her husband, ticket inspector Hamza (Vijay Varma), goes missing, Badru proceeds to file a police complaint along with her mother (Shefali Shah). A red bruise under Badru's right eye, however, suggests a different story. The film was released on August 5.
