Satyameva Jayate 2 trailer out: John Abraham fights corruption in a double role

The adrenalized sequel to Satyameva Jayate yes, it's possible; releases on November 25

The trailer of Milap Milan Zaveri's Satyameva Jayate 2 is out. The highly-adrenalized sequel stars John Abraham — and John Abraham — fighting corruption in North India. Satya and Jay are brothers with wildly contrasting approaches to crime-fighting. One favours his chest (56 inches, no less), the other his muscly forearms. Between them, they crack up tables, car engines and entire police stations. The real hero, though, remains Milap's trademark lines, with gems ranging from "you need a rock to stop a storm (????)" to "Not 11 countries', this one's police is enough to catch you."

The obvious below-the-belt winner? "Har gunehgar ko aisi maut marunga.... ki agli janam mein maa ki kokh se kya, baap ki tope se bhi nikal ne se darega (I'd translate it for you, but it just won't have the same ring).

Satyameva Jayate 2 also stars Divya Khosla Kumar, and a third John Abraham in a flashback. The film is co-produced by Emmay Entertainment and T-Series. It is releasing in theatres on November 25.

"I am happy that cinemas have now re-opened even in Maharashtra and the audiences will be able to experience Satyameva Jayate 2 in theatres," John said. "A film like Satyameva Jayate 2 is meant for the big screen and for the masses/people who have not been able to watch movies in theatres due to the pandemic. The response by all the exhibitors who saw the rushes has been encouraging, they are also looking forward to the film.”

Milap Zaveri shared, “I’m ecstatic by the amazing response to the trailer! It’s John’s first triple role and the masses, as well as the class audience, have loved him in it. Divya’s beauty and talent is being raved about. The dialogues have hit the bull's eye as has the action. I think audiences are charged up to see the masala entertainment the film has to offer."
