Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan gets a release date

The release date of Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan is finally out. The film is set to hit the theatres on Eid in April this year. The film was earlier scheduled to release on June 23 last year but got delayed. It is a biographical sports drama film based on the life of Syed Abdul Rahim and is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. The film also stars Priyamani Raj and Gajraj Rao in pivotal roles.

Ajay Devgn shared the release date of the film with a poster. He wrote in the caption, “The much-awaited game is about to flag off worldwide. Mark your calendars as #Maidaan takes over fields this Eid, April 2024, promising an inspiring tale that will leave you cheering & celebrating with pride.”

The film is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. The music for the film is composed by AR Rahman with lyrics written by Manoj Muntashir.
