‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’, another song from Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies was unveiled on Sunday. Sung by Dot. and Kelly Dlima, the music video has been picturised on Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Dot. Agastya Nanda and Mihir Ahuja also feature in the song as Archie Andrews and Jughead respectively.

The music video shows Suhana’s Veronica and Khushi’s Betty dancing on skates. The song’s lyrics suggest that the girls have decided to get back at Archie, who, even in the comics, is known for two-timing Betty and Veronica. It seems like the girls have caught on to Archie’s shenanigans and Jughead, afraid for his friend, is imagining the happenings in the music video. The song has been written by veteran lyricist and Zoya’s father Javed Akhtar.

When it comes to other characters, Dot will be seen as Ethell Muggs while Mihir Ahuja will play Jughead Jones. Vedang Raina and Yuvaraj Menda will play Reggie Mantle and Dilton Doiley, respectively.

Backed by Tiger Baby Films in collaboration with Archie Comics and Graphic India, The Archies is written by Reema Kagti, Zoya, and Ayesha Devitre.

The film will premiere on Netflix on December 7.
