Saiyami Kher and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Ghoomer dropped on OTT this month. Abhishek, recently spoke about how he got into the role of a failed test cricketer Padam “Paddy” Singh Sodi for the film. Paddy trains Saiyami’s Anina, who starts off as an ace batsman, to become a fast bowler after she loses her left arm in an accident.

Talking about his process, Abhishek said, “Each actor's process is unique to them. And, as every actor will tell you, it's a highly personal moment that I've never felt comfortable talking about in public,” he said. “Also, because I feel if you talk about it, you kind of let it out, so it's not yours anymore to use.”

Reminiscing about a scene from the film which struck a chord with him, Abhishek said, “One particular scene stands out, taking place on Diwali night after my character Paddy has been very nasty to Saiyami and Angad’s (Bedi) characters. Finally, he reaches a breaking point and confesses to Ivanka's character, Rasika, explaining why he is the way he is.”

“It's not a scene I would like to revisit, because the demands take you to very dark and intense personal spaces,” he added.
