Cannes 2023: Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane share pictures from premiere of Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon

Anurag and Vikramaditya are attending the festival for the premiere of the former’s directorial Kennedy

Filmmakers Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane recently attended the premiere of Martin Scorsese’s crime-western Killers of the Flower Moon. Before the premiere, the directors posed on the red carpet.

In the pictures, shared by Anurag on social media, the filmmakers are seen enjoying a laugh. In one of the photos, producer Kabir Ahuja of Good Bad Films is also seen. Anurag also shared a video of Scorsese and Leonardo Di Caprio meeting fans on the red carpet. “And my Bruce Wayne @motwayne came to @festivaldecannes for #Kennedy. While I wore this cool black suit from @manishmalhotra05 @manishmalhotraworld he wore whatever Alfred @ishikamohanmotwane could put together for him . With us is our debutant producer @kabirahuja .. the man running the show @cinemakasam is missing because he was on the other side of the croisette .. this we are in for @martinscorsese_ ‘s “Killers of the flower Moon” .. uff what a film and how he does it again and again and yet again..”


Vikramaditya also shared a picture with Anurag and wrote, “Red carpet ready for..” He then posted a screen grab which read, “A Martin Scorsese film.” In his next multiple snaps, the filmmaker featured the legendary director himself. During the screening, a video captured the moment when Scorsese received a standing ovation after the film. An emotional Leonardo DiCaprio also featured in one of the pictures.

Anurag and Vikramaditya are in Cannes for Kennedy. The Anurag Kashyap directorial has been selected for a Midnight screening at the film festival. The film stars Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhatt and Abhilash Thapliyal in pivotal roles.
