Parineeti Chopra gets engaged to politician Raghav Chadha

Actor Parineeti Chopra got engaged to the Aam Aadmi Party's Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Saturday.

The actor took to her social media handle to make the announcement and share a few pictures from the engagement ceremony. She also gave a glimpse of their engagement rings. Both of them were decked up in ivory outfits. In the caption, she wrote, "Everything I prayed for. I said yes!"

According to reports, the ceremony was attended by family and close friends of the couple, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, at the  Kapurthala House on Mansingh Road, across the road from the Taj Mahal Hotel, in Lutyens's Delhi.

On the work front, Parineeti will be seen sharing the screen with Diljit Dosanjh in the Imtiaz Ali film Chamkila. The film is said to be inspired by popular Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila, who was assassinated in the 1980s.
