Hindi actor-filmmaker Kangana Ranaut, who is currently helming a film titled Emergency, recently opened up about the challenges a director faces while making films.

Taking to Instagram, Kangana recently shared a story featuring an interview with American director Martin Scorsese he discusses methods of shooting. Along with this, the actor wrote, “Trust me what you want to do as a director is easier to do than to explain limiting your vision to words is rather agonizing that’s why best terms are those who read emotions and energy and doesn’t get entangled in words and best directors are those who let those emotions lead them not ambitions.” The actor also added that directors are often posed “with minimum of 400-500 questions every day” across departments.

It is to be noted that Kangana made her directorial debut with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, the historical action drama film based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The actor is also working on Emergency, in which she will be seen playing the late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, and Shreyas Talpade also play prominent roles.
