Jogira Sara Ra Ra trailer: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wedding planner has to break up a marriage in this comedy

The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Neha Sharma starrer Jogira Sara Ra Ra was unveiled today. Nawazuddin is reuniting with Babumoshai Bandookbaaz (2017) director Kushan Nandy for the film.

The trailer introduces us to Nawaz’s character Jogi Pratap, a wedding planner. He is known for his ‘jugaad’ in getting good deals for his clients. Except for him, there are only women in Jogi’s family, as he has a lot of sisters. He seems fed up with them. “I won’t marry and get another woman in the family. I will tell my kids also not to marry,” he vents to a friend. Enter Neha Sharma’s Dimple. She is being set up for an arranged marriage and wants Jogi to break the marriage. She even gets herself kidnapped to be saved from the wedding (The kidnapper is a hilarious Sanjay Mishra). The wedding is called off by the guy’s family, but now Dimple’s father forces Jogi (at gunpoint) to marry her. Will Jogi go against his rule and marry Dimple?

The film is produced by Naeem A Siddiqui, with Kiran Shyam Shroff as the creative producer. It also stars Zarina Wahab and Mahakshay Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

Nawazuddin was last seen in the 2022 film Heropanti 2, in which he played the antagonist Laila. The film didn’t impress critics and also failed at the box office. Apart from Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Nawaz has Afwaah, Adbhut, Tiku Weds Sheru, Noorani Chehra and Bole Chudiyan, among others, in the pipeline.

The film is slated to release on May 12.
