Amitabh Bachchan greets fans outside Jalsa for the first time since injury

Amitabh Bachchan, who got injured on set recently, came out of his residence Jalsa on Sunday for a meet-and-greet with fans.

Earlier this month, Bachchan got injured while shooting for an action sequence in Hyderabad for his upcoming film Project K. As per reports, the actor suffered a muscle tear in his right rib cage.

With his right hand supported by a “homemade sling”, the 80-year-old actor appeared at the gate of his Juhu residence, wearing a white kurta-pyjama with a printed jacket

“And the work continues .. the Sunday blessings of the well wishers .. my love affection and gratitude .. they still come .. me in homemade sling and the grey.. there is a flood of well wishers here, but space and limits do not allow .. (sic)” Bachchan wrote on his personal blog on Monday morning.

In a previous blog post shared on Saturday, the popular star said he would try to return to the Jalsa gate on the weekend.

“.. the injuries heal slowly, and today hope the effort is enough to climb the board and wave to the well-wishers at the GATE,” he had written.

Apart from Bachchan, Project K also stars Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Disha Patani. The film has been simultaneously shot in Telugu and Hindi. It is set in a futuristic world and deals with the aftermath of war. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and backed by Vyjayanthi Films.
