The first look of Chatrapathi, actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas's Hindi debut, was unveiled on Monday. Chatrapathi is a remake of SS Rajamouli's 2005 cult Telugu film of the same name. Sreenivas will be reprising the role of Prabhas from the original film. Nushhratt Bharucha will be starring opposite Sreenivas as the film's female lead. VV Vinayak, director of films like Lakshmi (2006), Adhurs (2010) and Khaidi No 150 (2017) is the director of the Hindi adaptation of Chatrapathi.
Chatrapathi has wrapped its entire shoot and the film's post-production works are currently underway. In this first-look poster, Sreenivas is seen standing in the water with a copper bowl in one hand, with injuries visible on his back. Chatrapathi is produced by Dr Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. Screenwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well, with Mayur Puri writing the film's Hindi dialogues.
Tanishk Bagchi is the music director of the film. Chatrapati also stars Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammed Monajir, Vedika and Jason in supporting roles. The film's core technical crew comprises of cinematographer Nizar Ali Shafi and production designer Sunil Babu.
