Nawazuddin Siddiqui lauds Kapil Sharma's performance in Zwigato

Zwigato, starring  Kapil Sharma, was recently released in theatres. The film has been getting applause for the actor's performance. Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who recently caught the film, showered praises for  Kapil's portrayal as a delivery boy. 

Taking to Twitter, Nawazuddin Siddiqui wrote, "It's a treat to watch Kapil Sharma getting out of his comfort zone and giving a stellar performance. This film is a must-watch for all cinema lovers. Congratulations, Nanditadas and team, for making this beautiful film." 

Kapil, who is best known for his television show, has previously acted in films such as Firangi, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, and It's My Life. Zwigato marks his first time portraying a serious role without a humour touch. The film explores the life of Manas(Kapil), who is forced to work as a food delivery rider after losing his job as a factory floor manager. 

Presented by Applause Entertainment and Nandita Das Initiatives, Zwigato is directed by Nandita Das. The film also stars Shahana Goswami and Tushar Acharya.
