It is a schedule wrap for the upcoming Hindi film Fighter starring actor Hrithik Roshan in the lead role, the makers announced on social media on Monday.

The film also stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is billed as India's first aerial action franchise. Hrithik and Deepika portray Indian Air Force pilots in the film. The big-budget film also stars Anil Kapoor in a major role and Akshay Oberoi as an air force officer.

Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb and Anku Pande are backing the film.

Speaking about the film, director Siddharth Anand had stated that it is his dream project, and aims to put Indian films on the map for action-loving global theatrical audiences. Fighter is scheduled for release on January 25, 2024.
