Kiara Advani cast in War 2

The spy thriller will also feature Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR

Actor Kiara Advani is set to star in the upcoming sequel War 2, alongside actors Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.

Directed by filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, the film will fall under the YRF cinematic spy universe, which includes films like Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, and Tiger Zinda Hai, and Hrithik Roshan’s War.

A source was quoted as saying by an IANS report, “Kiara Advani fits the bill to the T as far as YRF Spy Universe and War 2 is considered. The YRF Spy Universe is a league of all-time blockbuster films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Pathaan, and the expectation from each movie coming out from this franchise is sky high.”

Another source spoke to Variety and said, "Aditya Chopra is going all out to make this film the slickest and the coolest action entertainer that this country has ever seen. It will be really exciting to see Kiara in this universe and how Ayan and Aditya present her in War 2. All the heroines of the spy universe have left an unforgettable mark on Indian cinema. Now, it is Kiara’s turn and we all know she can make a huge impact on screen with War 2.”

Meanwhile, the next installment from the spy universe is Tiger 3 which will release in November and star Salman and Katrina Kaif.
