Makers of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani release BTS of What Jhumka

What Jhumka, the second single from Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, was released recently, and the song has become an instant hit on social media. On Sunday, the makers released the behind-the-scenes of the song. 

The film's music is composed by Madan Mohan and Pritam. It is sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi. The rap portion is sung by Ranveer Singh. 

What Jhumka a celebratory dance number shot in an extravagant festive set which also has a huge bunch of back dancers. Before this, the makers released the love ballad Tum Kya Mile, a Yash Raj-style romance number that featured Ranveer and Alia romancing in the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Apart from Ranveer and Alia, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also features Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, among others. 

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan's return to the director's chair after seven years. Although in-between, he directed shorts in Netflix anthologies Lust Stories and Ghost Stories, the last feature film helmed by him was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).

The story and screenplay of the film are penned by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will drop in theatres on July 28.
