Karan Johar pens a heartwarming note to team Pathaan

The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan is minting big at the box office, and fans have been elated about Shah Rukh's comeback with a bang.

A few days after the release, Karan Johar, the director-producer, took to his Instagram handle to share a heartwarming note wishing the cast and crew.

On his Instagram story, Shah Rukh wrote, "Nothing matters more than a great film. The mega blockbuster success proves that excessive promotions, fear of trolling, boycott threats, just about all the myths that we as an industry propagate or believe in are redundant when a film like 'Pathaan' kills all of them. Old school conviction and a kick-ass trailer are what we all need. So thrilled for you Adi, Sid, bhai, bhaijaan, John and DP. Rooting for you till we reach that magic number." (sic)

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the spy-action thriller is part of the YRF spy universe. The film has been pulling in crowds, and the theatres have been running to packed houses since its release.
