Even before its release, Pathaan is creating waves across the country. As per reports, the film has already minted Rs 50 crore in advance bookings. Apart from this, several cinemas which shut during the Covid-19 pandemic are reopening to house the film.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Pathaan has already sold over 4 lakh tickets. The advance booking for the film started on January 20. It has surpassed the ticket sales of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s War and Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer Thugs of Hindostan. Pathaan only lags behind Hindi dubs of Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 in Day 1 ticket sales.
Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It marks the return of Shah Rukh to the big screen after four years. The film will be released in theatres on January 25.
